Give me the headline.

When things go wrong, they go wrong in a series of steps.

First my alarm didn’t go off, then I spilled coffee all down my front, then I was running late, then I got a speeding ticket, then I missed twenty minutes of the important client meeting…you see what I mean.

But if I’m someone who needs to know about the client meeting, I want you to start there. Instead of launching into the whole story beginning with the fact that you overslept, cut to the part about the client. What do I need to know about what happened in the meeting? Do I need to do damage control? Had they left by the time you got there? Was it all fine? Is it a disaster?

The story of your crummy morning can wait. Start with what’s most relevant to the person who’s listening.

We can help you tell your story–read more here!
