Who Are You?
Every person is different, so it makes sense that each person’s presenting and speaking style will be unique. We’re not going to give you a list of tricks and tell you what hand gestures to use–we want to get to know you, understand what you’re about and what you’re already great at. We believe that effective, intentional, and authentic communication comes from letting you be you–with some polish and practice!
Ignite CSP’s coaches will meet you where you are, develop coaching approaches and techniques just for you, and always work from your strengths.
What is Intentional Communication?
Ignite CSP has developed a specific process we apply to everything we do. Essentially, we ask clients to identify their intention—how do they want to affect their audience? Then we work on alignment—ensuring the body and voice support the intention. Finally, we discuss practice. Practicing isn’t complicated, but there are definitely methods that help you reach the desired outcomes. Students participate in exercises to identify both their strengths and the gaps where they can develop their skills, and each participant creates a practice plan to continue working after the course is completed.
Who Are We?
Ignite CSP’s coaches are professional actors, directors, and educators who are experienced in theater, film, and television. Our deep experience in performance means that we are very attuned to both the basics and the nuance of communication. We’re particularly skilled at seeing when a client is sending mixed messages in their communication, and we can diagnose and fix what’s going on so that words, voice, and body are all saying the same thing.
In addition, we have extensive backgrounds in coaching, facilitation, corporate training, business, law, and education. Most of all, our coaches are committed to helping each client show up positively, authentically, and confidently.
